Coach Berry is excited to announce Desiree Phelps as the Director of Volleyball Programs

Desiree "Dez" Phelps...has been coaching volleyball for 17 years. She coached for 2 years at
Ephrata High School, 13 years at Manson High School and 3 years for Confluence Volleyball Club.

During her 13 years at Manson she lead her varsity team to 9 State Tournament appearances and 3 top 8 eight finishes including 2nd, 7th, and 8th.

Desiree is currently the lead coach for the U-16 age group for Confluence Volleyball Club and The Way to Win. 

Desiree enjoys running, biking, camping, relaxing on their dock on Lake Chelan, and other family activities. 
Desiree's passion is teaching girls the game of volleyball through positive self talk, motivation, and goal setting.

Desiree is married to Frank and has four amazing children and runs a small book keeping company.
They live in Manson, WA

Coach Berry believes...that there are no short cuts to becoming a good player on and off the court! It takes hours of practice and repetition to make a few simple great plays in each game.

Our Vision for each player is very clear...without the fear of failure how good can you be? If you take away the fear and don't hesitate you will always succeed! We believe that each player in our program will learn not only how to Win but how to deal with losses on & off the court!

The Way to Win Coaches are experienced volleyball athletes, who continue to maintain a level of fitness in their life. They exemplify high standards, adhering to a strict Code of Ethics. Their personal integrity shows them to be role models, true leaders empowering others to realize their full potential on and off the court.
